I know it's stereo out, but is it mono or stereo in?

Mike,

The Rev is a mono in, stereo out preamp. It's designed for a single instrument, but if you use a stereo effects unit with it, the preamp has a true stereo output to deliver your effects in stereo. Even in mono, it'll drive two separate amps discretely. Actually it can drive 4 different devices as both left and right outputs have both XLR and 1/4 outs.

Mike I just got my Rev this week and I am using the stereo Aux in to take the signal from my 6 string guitar processor and so far this is working great. I will keep you posted as I continue my quest for tone. This thing sounds fantastic.
