Steve, you won't be far off if you set all controls straight up at 12:00 o'clock. Then you can tweak for the acoustics of the room you are in. If you use the reverb, you can set that for taste. I never use a spring reverb. I prefer to use a delay device.

A good starting point, If you have your amp off the floor.
Low +9 to +12
Mid -3
Shift 800 Hz
Both High and Presence sligtly on the plus side.

That is what I use with my Franklin for my "basic" settings and I rarely have to deviate wherever I play.

Ditto almost to a "T" Jack's settings. Works great for me.

I think the settings will differ by the brand of guitar you're using. I have a BMI S-12 (Universal) and set my low full on, the mid around 10 o'clock or so, the shift around 1 0'clock and the high around 2 o'clock to start! The high's usually the only one I ever change from club to club....JH in Va.

Steven, I lean my Nashville 112s back to where the front is about 4" off the floor. And the best settings I've found for this type setup is
Low +3
Mid -15
Shift 800
High + 3/6
Pres + 3/6

Ditto Terry's, but it has to be on the floor! Doesn't work if you put it on a stand.
