Blue marvel 12" speakers

I read a post several months ago where some players were using Blue Marvel 12" speakers in there 112's. I hadn't seen anything else about it lately though. Anybody familiar with the speakers or used them anytime.

Ok. I checked the Carter website and checked the 112 speaker. It's a speaker that some players were replacing the Blue Marvel with is what I was trying to find out. BM comes in the 112.

Billy, I tried a Black Widow 1203-4 in mine for a while. I really couldn't tell any difference in the sound at the volumes I play at, and it added several pounds to the weight of the amp. I took it out and put the Blue Marvel back in.
