| I am going to be wiring up a two-pickup guitar like a Gibson, however I only have two holes for pots (Warmoth Fender Mustang clone). I have some concentric tone/volume pots that fit, but because of space considerations it may be tight to wire the grounds to the bottom of the pots in the usual way. Would it be sensible to wire certain of the grounds together off to the side, and just make sure this "central ground" was grounded? |

| David, the pots don't care how they're grounded. If they're mounted to a metal plate, they're all hooked together by the plate. If they'e mounted to a plastic plate, then you can cut and glue a piece of brass shim-stock (or even aluminum foil) to the back of the plate, or just run a wire between them. They also make large/long-tab solder lugs for grounding of jacks, switches, and controls. |
