What Fred said plus I own two of his cabs. They are "tuned " type cabs. with 15" Black Widows and closed backs .

I have been very happy with these cabinets ! They are well made and project the sounds well !

Give Gerry A call ! He is a fine guy to deal with and his Stereo Steel Combo is second to none . I have that too ! Happy with all of it !!!!

this may or may not be helpful, but I have gotten Bass speaker cabinets from http://www.avatarspeakers.com/ obviously these cabinets were not voiced for Steel, but they have closed back cabinets listed on the site, & I found them to be very accomodating in terms of design, speaker loading, and price, my Bass cabs are excellent.

I'm sure that Rick Johnson can hook you up with some great looking, and great sounding cabs that are very light weight also .....Sincerely, Jim

I got mine from SS cabs on eBay. He produces new cabinets every week and you can e-mail him to put one in queue for you. I got a 115 in vintage orange (color of a football) with cane grille for $109. My new Eminence Commonwealth 15 sounds wonderful in it! It is birch plywood, front-loading with T-nuts and bolts for speaker-mounting and the jackplate and wiring are included.

Check this link: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-1x10-Guitar-Cabinet-empty-Vint-Orange-Cane_W0QQitemZ7414477807QQcategoryZ10171QQcmdZViewItem
It takes you to a 110 in the same color. You can e-mail him from there.
