I recently got a Rocktron Velocity 100 power amp and a 2-12 speaker cab from Weber Speakers. The speakers are the 12" California series. The pre amp I'm using at the moment is a Roland GP-100. I can't believe how loud and clear this combo is. The power amp is only 50 watts per side so I'm not sure how well it would work live but I bought it to use in the studio. It's plently loud. And the speakers, Dang!!!! These things are great. Weber built me a cabinet too. Very nice work.

Hey Gaylon. Can you give us some details on the 2-12" cabinet? Open back or closed? Dimensions and weight? I'm considering going to a 2-12" cabinet also.

Randy,

I'm going back to the studio tonight so I'll measure the cab, take a photo and post it here later tonight.

I recently (9 months or so?) wentfrom 2 Webb 614's to a POD XT Pro driving a Stewart World 1.6 into two BW 15's in closed back Marrs cabinets. Seems to be the sound I've beenooking for since 1967. Each string can be heard individually, even when strummed. Just a great sound, at least to me.
