I just purchased a second NV 112 and would like to hook them up together.
- Are there different ways to do this and what are the pros and cons of each?
- Where do you put the effects, such as DD-5, RV-3, etc.
- What do you use for amps settings? Are they both set the same?
All help and suggestions appreciated.

Jim, the "pre EQ" loop is generally for inserting your volume pedal. This insert point is located in the circuit right after the "pre gain" so that the signal is "constant"(set by the pre gain control)so that the remainder of the amp circuit has enough signal to work with.
The "post eq" is for inserting an effects device so that the effect is colored by the amps equalization settings.
If you have a stereo effects device, there are a few ways to patch it in. If the effects device is true stereo(two inputs and two outputs), patch from each of the amp's post send jacks to the inputs of the effects device, then from the outputs of the effect to the post return return jacks using one amp as the main input amp.

Lee, it could possibly cause that symptom but I wouldn't know until I hooked it up and tried it.
Surely someone else has different hookup configurations to try? My reply is not the end of all answers. |

Before the Stereo~Craze took full effect, we (run-of-the-mill) steel guitar players, using two-amps. began by running one amp ‘Dry’ with just [Amp.~Reverb] and the 2nd. amp. was reserved for the simple effects, such as Delay, Chorus, Tremolo, and even the Boss~Tone String-Effect! [plus amp.~reverb] Now the trend seems to be towards getting back to the basics, even just one amp. on occassion! “It's like dae-sha-voo, all over again”!

Jim, the way i run mine is out of V pedal (2 cords)to inputs on amps then use post patch like Mike said into my stereo reverb (thats one send from each amp) to the ins on verb pedal then one out of verb Pedal to delay then to one amp return then the other from the verb pedal to the other amp return, so it gives me verb in both amps but delay only in one. You just have to mark your cords so you don't cross them.
I'm sure you'll get more ideas here but this is the one i've allways liked best.
