...chocolate? I know, Nestles.

Who makes the best amp cover for the Peavey Nashville 112? I just got mine from the Carter people __ sounds great and very pleasingly customized. It's medium blue with a silver grill.

...looking for a cover that's both functional and good looking.

Many thanks in advance, Rick

I got mine directly from a Peavy dealer for $20 or thereabouts. Why Peavey stopped making covers for the amps they continue to manufacture is a total bewilderment to me;m it just does not feel right.

What Morton said. Tom not only makes great, durable, nice-looking covers, he makes them in several desirable colors!

I've seen some complaints about the way the knobs are exposed on the 112's. You might want to make sure the cover is designed to help protect the knobs.

Depends on how you want to protect it. For over 30 years I have exclusively used covers made of a hard shell fiber custom made by Woody Woodell of Goodlettsville, TN. He himself recently retired from making them himself, but has a schoolteacher in Springfield, TN making them. They "drop over" like nylon or naugahyde cover, but then can be used as an amp stand. A nylon strap around the amp and thru the handle holds it on for transport.
An anvil case? No. But certainly as much protection as most of us need, and only a little more expensive than a soft cover.

Depends on what you like but I have to second Tom Palmers covers. You won't be disappointed with one.

I and several others in our steel club are using the Tom Palmer "D2F" padded covers for our NV112's.

A strong endorsement from me for Tom Palmer's excellent covers! They're not cheap, but provide the perfect level of protection for my day-to-day use, and are substantial enough to protect those vulnerable knobs while transporting the amps by car. I have two - one for each of my 112s.

If I tour, and my stuff's going in a truck, then I have to use a heavy-duty road-case, but I also have a set of Woody Woodell's fibre-board cases (a two-piece steel case and another for my Steelers' Choice' seat).

I must admit that I've stopped using Woody's steel cases in favour of the Wheel-Ez that I find to be compact yet sturdy - I've also managed to get my Emmons accepted as 'carry-on baggage' since going to the Wheel-Ez.

If you get a Tuki or a Palmer it will never wear out. If you're thinking typical vinyl ebay crap don't bother. I got a Tuki for my deluxe at least 15 years ago. It still looks perfect. Even my cats can't mess it up, and they have tried. As soon as I get an new amp I get a Tuki for it.

FYI. You can still order a Peavey cover(part #00477470 by calling the factory at 1-877-732-8391, then choosing the "Parts" option, or order through your favorite authorized Peavey dealer.
