Topic: After the Nashville 400 updates |

I'm curious, I know they say its a big improvement. But,does a Nashville 400 have a sound all its own after the new updates? Like, does it kind of sound like any of the other Peavey amps you can think of or is it a stand alone amp? I've not owned a Nashville 400 yet. My new GFI is asking cause it don't like the 400 limited I'm using now. Thank You.

| Have you considered putting the mods on the Session 400 LTD. If you have not already moded it, it sure made a real difference in mids as well as the general overall sound and tone on the two we have moded. |

Yes Curtis, It has been updated. It is much better also and I'm going to keep it.
I thought there was another post on here right after yours that had a wealth of information about the updates on a Nashville 400 and maybe what years would be best to look for. I went to rehearsal came back and it was gone? Was I just dreaming or what? Anyway I'm on the hunt for the right Nashville 400, just need a little more info on what to look for and what years? Thank You.

We began installing the Nashville 400 mod kit from the factory beginning with serial number 08575482. However, we have installed many, many kits at the factory(if the amp was sent to us) and also our dealers and service centers have purchased and installed the kit out in the field. So, it will be a bit difficult determining if the amp is modified simply by looking at it. However, if you call me I can tell you if a kit was installed at the factory after the above serial number.

Mike, thank you very much for that info. I take it that your saying all the Nashville 400 amps of all years with that update would be close to the same, other than the speaker change?
