I played thru a DOD stereo phaser this weekend and it was really neat sounding,A lot like Sneaky Pete on early Jackson Browne recordings. The people that I'm playing with are 20 years younger than me and had never heard that sound before,I had to laugh...anybody else using a phaser? |

I'm probably in the minority here, but I love the 70s phaser sound. My session 500 has an excellent built-in phaser effect I'll use on maybe one tune a night. I also have an old DOD phasor pedal that sounds very nice. Admittedly cheesy, but fun effect. |

I have a phaser program in my POD XT. I don't generally use it much - many nights nothing but reverb and delay is used.
However, I did get to use the phase on the Tommy Cash tour the month of February. I got to do the "horn" part on "Ring of Fire" and used the phase effect on that. During rehersal for the tour I used it and Tommy liked it and told me to use it on the tour. |
