This amp has got to be just about the best value tube amp currently available. My Tele just sings through it, and I will be doing some recording with it at the weekend using my ShoBud. The sound quality is every bit as good as my old Fender Twin.
Congratulations to Peavey for a fine product at a very competative price. Don't know how they have done it but I'm glad that they have made this amp available to Europe and not just the USA.
For live work I will use both my NV400 plus the ValveKing, with steel and lead guitar having their own dedicated amp. |

I've had a pop at Peavey via this forum in the past for the company's reluctance to make some of its steel guitar amps available to Europe. I do believe in giving credit where it's due, and with the ValveKing 212 I have a superb quality amp at just over a third of the price in the UK of a Fender Twin Amp. I am a very happy camper. |

Hi Ken, me old mate, We'll be on the same bill soon at "Jaggers". I look forward to hearing your Valve king  ....I'm still on the Nashville 400, with the Nashville 112 as a spare, brilliant though it is, I just prefer the 15 inch speaker.

Hi Micky - that'll be great. I look forward to hearing your Carter.
I'm with you regarding the Nash 112 - the 400 just seems to have much more definition and punch than the 112 for my ears, but its a minority view.
The ValveKing is great. I have always used the one single channel amp to play lead and steel through, so its always a compromise to get a good sound for both instruments.
I look forward to having a pint with you and catching up with old times. You can tell me how the old ShoBud restoration is coming on.
