Well, I thought I'd try a BW 1501 speaker instead of the stock speaker and after I got it installed I had no power at all.I put the stock speaker back in and still no power. I am wondering if I got the speaker leads wrong and blew a fuse. Any suggestions of a cause or way to fix it?
thanks,
trap

What do you mean by "no power"? Do you mean the amp won't power up, or do you mean it powers up, with no sound coming from the speaker? Perchance, is the tuner mute button pushed in?

Reversing the speaker wires won't blow a fuse.

I just took the chasis out and found the F1 fuse (printed on the circut board) to be blown. This is a F5a 125v fuse.I'll get another one tomorrow and see what happens.
thanks for the help, trap
