Putting some hours into tuning my wurlitzer 200 electric piano and noticed a few rips in the bass speaker. The 200 has a chassis-mounted design for the speakers and replacements are extremely scarce. Does anyone know of a good repair joing near San Francisco or otherwise who can do the recone job? This is an odd size.

If you want a recone, Orange County Speaker, in Garden Grove would be your best bet.

The 4"x8" size is pretty common in cars (Caddys and Lincolns). If you want a new speaker, you can get one here...

Brian, If your speaker still works properly you could repair it by spreading a little bit of clear silicone across the tear(s). I've done this on a few older Jensen's over the years and it's worked great.
