Anyone have any idea what happens when you put a new battery in profex II and when turned back on, it shows "output muted" I would appreciate any imput. Thanks, T. A.

You need to reinitialize the unit. All your settings are already lost! You will need a cache card or another Profex 2 with settings and a midi cable to reload! Press "PLAY" and "GLOBAL" then power up. It will reload with the factory settings. After taht you will need to reload steel guitar settings, unless you want to be a rock star!

There ya have it right from the best! Send it to Ken for the mod/upgraded chip and the Newmann programs reloaded. He knows all about the Tubefex, Trans, Pro's, Bass and maybe even some con's
