This maybe a stupid question and one that may have already been addressed but if so I didn't read it. Over the last 2 or 3 years we've been putting the Lemay mod or the Peavey mod kits in our amps to get rid of the mid-range honk and i'm wondering if this was addressed when building the new 112's and 1000 Nashville amps.

We began incorporating the Peavey Tone Mod Kit into the Nashville 400's(when they were in production) back in the mid '90's. All Nashville 400's with a serial number higher than 08575482 have the kit installed from the factory. Our serial numbers run consecutive.

This tone circuit was continued in the Nashville 1000 and Nashville 112 models as well.

If you are interested in installing a Peavey Tone Mod kit into your Peavey amp, feel free to call me toll free in North America at 1-877-732-8391, ext. 1180. In the meantime, here is a link to our "kit" pages; http://www.peavey.com/support/steelguitaristinfo/

Thanks Mike, I have one installed in my Nash 400 but I have the 1000 on it's way and I haven't read any negatives about it so i'm looking forward to trying it out this weekend.

The best sound I can recall having with a (s.s.) amp. was with (1)-Peavey N–1000 and an old Analog Delay Stomp-Box!
