I received my 2nd Nashville 1-12 and I'm totally happy! I got one a few weeks ago from Bobbe Seymore and loved the sound of the little thing so I ordered a second one! I've played a gig with both amps over the weekend and what a sound! I finally have a sound that I might really be happy with after all these years! JH in Va.

Jerry-- have you played/gigged with a Tele or other 6-string electric through the NV112? If so, could you describe your "chain", and how do you like the sound?

Hey Steve, I have gigged with a NV 1-12 on Telecaster and they work very well. I only use it for clean sounds as distortion of other effects I get from a Boss ME-50 pedal board. On guitar I set it as follows" Pre gain: 3 to 4/ Low: -9/ mid flat at 0/ shift: straight up/ high and presence full on so I'll have that treble if I need it and just cut back the tone control on the guitar. This works great for either my Tele or Les Paul.........
Terry, for my S-12 BMI I set it as follows: Pre Gain between 3 & 4/ Low + 7 or 8/ mid: -9/ shift: almost at the 800 setting/ highs and presence I set both a little past 12 to get enough highs as I love Ralph Mooney. I use a Goodrich matchbox with the tone control on top and turn that back for most playing. That way when I need a mooney sound I just turn the knob full on....JH in Va. |

Just heard Dave Zirbel's 112, sweet sounding little amp for sure (and plenty punchy too)... and I like the idea of stereo small amps.... however.... just can't let my session 500 go.

David, the NV112 is half the weight of the Session 500! Who says you can't have two amps?

Me also, stacked. Jerry, Roger, how do you set them up? Do you slave one to the other, or run stereo?

This past Saturday Sept. 17th we used two NV112's for our FSGC Anniversary show running in stereo from a PodXT. What a great sound we had with no complaints. Last year we used the NV1000's and found no difference with the NV112's this year and we saved our backs at the same time. I now use my NV1000 as a backup amp because I'm very happy with the NV112 sound I get.
