How do you set up the POD XT to tap the tempo for the digital delay effect? The tap button doesn't seem to do anything on my patches.

The tap button should light up when it's available in any particular patch....mine does. Try flipping through the different patched until one lights it up? Turn off the mod button if it's lit?

Bobby-

Go to Delay Edit (double click the 'delay' button); in the "Time" parameter, scroll left on the "effects tweak" knob until it's no longer numbers, but notes. Then the tap button is available. Choose quarter note usually.

Bobby-

Also try setting up the "effects tweak" knob to the "Delay Mix" parameter. Then while in non-edit mode, adjust the delay level that way, on the fly... very handy.

Another good tip. I hadn't thought of that. Thanks again, Dean.
