I'm tryin to record my steel guitar while I play along with a midi file but I can't hear my guitar (straight into the computer and no volume control). Also how can you control the input level with MultiTracks?

Who makes this software? I'd see if they have some FAQ's or forums and ask them.

Typically you need to config your tracks to point to the output driver, or sound card channel etc. in an 'Options' menu of some kind. But for a basic stereo (2-channel) soundcard, it should just play if nothing muted. ....?
