I played around with this concept with my steel by taking the second out of the pedal into a Genesis 3 and that into the aux. Worked great. No reason why your idea shouldn't work great.

I've run instruments into the Aux in's and it works fine.
Clean power.
The Aux in's on mine are 1/4" inputs.
I run a Strat through a Roland GP-8 to the Aux in's.
I usually run an 8 channel mixer through the Aux in's at home for various inputs.

Thanks Mark & pete I did not doubt GD in anyway he told me this can be done.
I have been talking a lot by e-mail, he is a good lad has plenty of time for you.
It's a lot of money when you import from the US.
over here they just don't build amps like walker so you need to do your homework
thank god for the forum.
good to know its a good clean sound
I will use the walker for steel no doubt
and maybe roland GP 100 or a pod xt for guitar
