when i plug in my nashville 112 there is a
hum it gets louder when i turn up my reverb
or master gain is this ok or should it be
quite it is only weeks old thanks |

| Had one last week, reversed the reverb connector at the amp chassis and solved the problem! |

Consider .. turning off the TV!
My practice space is on the other side of the wall from the TV. I usually set the amp on that common wall (due to space limitation) If the TV is on I get tons of hummmmmm.

I just a 3 month old nashville 112 and I have the same problem with mine.I tried changing the connections around on the reverb unit and it was worse yet. Maybe it's nature of beast ??????????? Any ideas anyone

| I have a 112 and tried recording with it. There was a little hum to it so I tried a fancy plug in that is suppose to isolate all of the plugins from each other. The small amout of hum is even there when I turn that pre and master volume knobs all the way off! This is not a hum that would bother you just playing, but recording yes. I pluged my Stereo Steel setup in and no hum what so ever. I don't know how people record with them unless they have something that removes that hum in the recording. I really like that little amp though. Anyone with similar experience? |

| Yep, mine did the same thing right out of the box. I contacted Mike at Peavey and he said that some were shipped out with the reverb wires reversed. He said to take it to the nearest Peavey dealer and have them switch the wires. I took the email from Mike to my dealer and they switched the wires while I waited. End of problem, thanks to Mike and great Peavey service. |
