Does any one have any idea what type of tone you would get on a 76 msa top neck with wallace true tone pick ups.I use a nashville 112 amp.I would like the sound of the mid 70's sho-buds.

Just replaced the Supersustain 2 on the E9th neck of my '77 D10 MSA XL. Significant improvement in terms of tonal quality, sustain and string separation. |

Jerry is a super guy. My last project for him was to rewind some Fender Stringmaster pickups. I know he is really busy but he took time to do this for me. Thanks, Jerry!

Norris, I just recently had a 17.5 TT pickup installed on my '76 Sho-Bud LDG and this pup sounds, IMHO, really sweet! Just ask Ricky Davis--he restored my LDG and played it at two of his gigs in Austin---he loved it! Jerry Wallace was great to deal with on top of that! I'll add another plug for Jerry Wallace.
17.5k in my Mullen SD-10 and it sounds really sweet.
GeorgeL used to make a 10-5 pickup with switchable impedances; I bet a TrueTone like that would be nice...

Mark... Jerry DOES make pickups with "switchable impedances"...[coil taps].. all you have to do is ask him..... I have one on my Carter for a year and a half, and I think by now Jerry has made them for others also.... bob |

Looks like I will be putting one on a 1970's MSA, mica type U-12 guitar. My Super Sustain was open coil! Hope it does the trick. Got one in my Carter U-12 and it is a honey!!! |

Well Roger, You ought to hear her sing, especially when you start pickin' on her. She won't sing a darn thing if you don't pick on her, though. She's got "that kinda tone"! You know, "That tone"! |

Norris,
I went from a Supersustain to a George L and thought that was a great improvement. Three weeks ago I went from a George L to a True Tone. I couldn't believe the difference. I highly recommend Jerry's pick-ups to anyone. Also, Jerry is a great guy to work with, he listened to what I wanted and delivered exactly that. Jerry if you out there.....THANKS
