I added a bracket to my Goodrich pedal to keep it from sliding , upon plugging the cords in, I put the out cord in the last hole ,this seemed to cut the volume down , and by process of elimination , I changed the cord to the 2nd hole, this seemed to solve the problem. Has anyone encounted this problem ?

Bob, There should be no difference in the 2 jacks. They are wired in parallel at the factory.

Make sure you don't have your IN's and OUT's reversed. The jack closest to the front of the pedal should be the input. The other two are both outputs.

Is one of the screws holding the braket on too long and shorting something?
