Phil's Guitar has a very unusual vintage Aloha with a solid aluminum body. It's a lot of money, but I thought some of you would like to see the photos.

Back when Robert Stamps owned The Amp Shop, and it was next door to Norman's Rare Guitars, he had a blue one hung on the wall and it was not for sale. |

No, Phil Emerson is the brother of Ken Emerson, and a fine guitarist in his own right.
I've seen the guitar in question (back when Phil's Guitars was in South San Francisco), and it's a fascinating looking and good sounding instrument. Is it worth $2000 in my opinion? Probably not, but try and find another one. Besides, he only has to sell it once.
