Hi forummembers,
I bought the small, light Evans RE 200 amp from the official Evans Dealer: WBS-Steelguitarbuilder Wolfgang Bednarz in germany. I'm very happy with it and impressed, every time I use this wonderful compact amp. It's now my main tool beside my stereoracksystem with cabinets.
I used all Peavey amps in the last 20 years now, played over the current Nashville 112, also some 15" speaker cabinets with racksystems. But this small thing is an mindblower, a sound camelion with a huge tone.Very flexibel in tone design and power. Gives you a nice control over your strings, nice smooth tubelike tone. No compromise in power, warmness, bassy low and high tones. It's a dream unit,well-engineered and a great tool for all kind of stage or studiosituations. guys, check it out ! Thanks Evans !

Hi Dietmar, I can not commit on the RE 200. I have not played through one. However, I'm not surprised about the quality. I've used Evans Amps. for sometime now and always been satisfied with the sound. Looking forward to trying a RE 200.
