It is a VHT Pitbull Super 30. This little amp is about the same size and weight as my NV 112. Class A wiring, and this little 30 watt amp SMOKES! One of the best clean tones I have ever heard. And the dirty channel sounds like a Marshall Plexi. It's really nice having these 2 small amps to gig with now! You lead guitar players need to check out VHT amps.

Hi Bob. You've been playing VHTs for a while now, right? Any problems with reliability....or manufacturer support?

Well, I loved my VHT Super 30 so much that I just went and bought another one just like it. Best clean tone in the business. These amps are incredible, and they are small and light.

Hey thanks Jim. I love the VHTs more every time I use them. The Fender amps just sit in the closet now. In all my yeaers of playing I've never seen a more versatile amp. And the compact size is just icing on the cake.

.....hmmmmm....let's see:
2-Tweed Bassman re-issues
1968 Bandmaster Reverb with 2-12 cab
Hot Rod Deluxe
......and I've sold my others over the last couple of years. They are all great amps, but so far can't hang with the VHT. Well....if a blues gig comes up, I'll probably take one of the Bassman amps. You know, it would just look better!

I used the little VHT with the Zum this past weekend. IT was the first time I have used it as a steel amp. It got a great warm tone, and held a pretty good volume without distorting. On a gig where the amp is mic'ed I think it would do a great job. I think it would also be a great studio amp. My front man used my second VHT amp on stage this weekend. He loved it, and he has now offered to buy it. These amps ROCK!
