One comment on "new" components. They may be better grade, have less leakage, or in the case of resistors have better (closer) value tolerance, etc. BUT, the new components can significantly change the overall sound of an amp (good or bad).
I've seen a lot of comments about reissued or later models of certain amps, or even effects that the reissued "doesn't sound like or as good as the original" and one reason is the components that were used. By today's standards the new components are much better, but the components originally used gave the amp (or effect) it's original sound. |

The Angela Tin caps are real nice. They have a mellowish tone like old Fender foil caps, but more hi-fi and detailed on top. Very high performance cap. I like them. Smoother and warmer than an Orange Drop 716p.
