| I am planning to trickle rather than hemorrhage G.A.S. funds this summer, and I want to upgrade the pickups, pots, wiring and shielding on one cheap-but-comfortable Ibanez with 2 humbuckers and 4 knobs, and the wiring and pots on a 4-knob DeArmond. I’m fairly set on Lawrence L450 pickups for the Ibanez, but I am wondering if you have favorite sources for other parts. I have a Stew-Mac catalog around here somewhere, and have had pleasant dealings with the Warmoth folks in the past. I hear good things about CTS pots? I don’t need the latest, hottest, raddest ultra-zooshy “boutique” stuff, adequate solidity will suffice. |
