Question: Has anyone tried a black box in front of a rack system? ShowBudSuperpro, TrueTones, Hilton, BlueTube, TranstubeFex, Mossvalve 1500.... Hard to think it could work any better. To me its better than any combination of LTD 400, Session 400, Session 500, or Nashville 1000 or Fender Silver Face, Fender Black face, Supper Twin, or Vibrosonic. I own most of these amps.
Thanx,
Dan

The BB will do it's thing BEFORE the Hilton,
what you have after will help,

but the BB is meant to work directly to your pickup, and before the pedal.

No other device listed above properly does the same coupling of pickup directly to tube,
so nothing else will give you that sound.

And the list of pros swearing it is just this effect that they love,
is growing all the time.

Brad did indeed build the better mousetrap.

Dan yes I run my BB before my rack and it makes it sound even better (if thats possible) -- don't forget to put the Black Box between the pickup and the volume pedal.
