A lap steel kit on eBay. Anyone ever heard one of these or had experience with the Dyna "layout" which promises to make finding "cords" easier?

(BTW, there is now a review of the Wayne lapsteel in that post.)

I think it's a nice looking design. Sort of a National New Yorker.

The brown wood around the tuning machines needs to go. It would be a much more streamlined look without it.

Nice looking. I don't see any routing for the controls or the output jack. Is that part of the "easy" assembly with a drill and a screwdriver?

I see that someone snatched it up pretty quick! Pretty good deal considering how much the parts cost by themselves.

The builder of this instrument emailed me with info that the control cavities are indeed routed out.
