Anyone have any experience with the LA amplifier from Peavey's "city series" of amps? It looks like a 1-12" amp with a clean and dirty channel and reverb. Anyone know if it has the same 200 watt power amp like in the NV400? There's one at a local guitar shop.

Brad, all of the Peavey City Series have the same 210 watt power amp. The preamps were different within the City Series.

Brad, I have an LA-400. I put it in an old Pacer cabinet modified for a 15" speaker. I'm using a 1501-4 Black Widow in it and it sounds great with guitar or steel either. It originally had a spider web 12" Black Widow which sounded good, but I had an old Bandit that needed a cabinet, and I wanted a 15" in the LA400 so I did some swapping. I think the EQ section is more versatile than on my old LTD. I think I paid around $200.00 for it about 5 years ago.
