If you use an adapter with your DD-3 is it noisy? Mine is very quiet with battery power but noisy with a power supply. Just wondered if that's unusual.

Are you using the Boss power supply? Mine's quite either way I power it. I usually use the wall wart because of short battery life, but no noise from it. I've used a Radio Shack supply before and had noise from that one, but not from the Boss unit.

Thanks Roger. Got an email from another user said the same thing. A reviewer on Musicians Friend site said his was noisy. I'll go ahead and buy it.

I use a Boss DD-3 delay through a Nashville 400. I have two NV 400's. On one there is a roar, and on the other it is as quiet as a mouse. I thought the unit was at fault, so I sent it off. They could find nothing wrong. One of the NV 400's is newer than the other. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but that's the one with the ocean roar in it. I use the Boss power supply rather than a 9V battery. I have a lose connection in the newer NV 400, and it is in for repair. When I get it back I will check and see if the roar is still there. If it is I won't have a clue as to what causes the roar. I may have to use my Ibanez DE-7 and see if it roars.

I picked one up yesterday and it eliminated the noise. Thank's for the help.
