Just finished a Bassfex and Profex 2. Both are up and running with the new chip. I will continue testing until tomorrow. So far they are perfect. As Peavey stated, if they did not a DSP error would occur right away. This has not happened.

Ken(or maybe Mike Brown), will the chip work in a Profex (not II)?

Thanks,

Not sure about the original Profex, I have never seen one! If it has the same chip as a Profex 2, then it should work.

I have ten more chips on the way. The last two orders are all spoken for.

Looks like the end of those pesky batteries!

I ordered another 30 chips. Let me know if you need one! So far I do not know if they will work in Profex 1 or an Ultraverb 2 unit.

If someone with a Profex one could call me, I will be able to check the memory chip and see if it is the same!

I am trying to get schematics for both as well.

If every one that has contacted me follows up I then have 31 commited chips. That leaves me 9 for stock.

I have schematics ordered for the old Profex 1 and the Ultraverb 2. I will be seeing if the chip will work in those very soon.

I got the schematic for the original Profex, the memory is totally different than a Profex 2. No luck on the Ultraverb, got the wrong schematic sent.
