I've got a friend that owns an Emmons amp but really doesn't know much about it except he likes the tone. Can anybody here tell us more about it? |

Depends which model it is. One model was made by Standel. When I worked for Little Roy Wiggins (71/72) I had an Emmons schematic and although it didn't say "Standel" on the schematic, it was drawn exactly like several other Standel schematics I had. |

Bobby, you may be right. I seem to remember something about that on a previous Emmons Amp post. |

The last ones were made by the RealTube/Mossvalve/GenzBenz folks. I think they might have been a modified BlueTube with a 15 inch speaker though I don't actually know. I don't recall ever hearing one but I DO recall trying to lift one and it was really awkward to carry because of its shape and weight distribution. |

I have one of these amps and it's a very clean, powerful amp. |

The Emmons amp is completely different than the Lashley LeGrande amp. Late 60's/early 70's on the Emmons amp. They were on the back cover of the Emmons catalog of '73/'74.
