After posting my hunt for a pre-war Rickenbacher several weeks ago on this forum I was contacted by someone who was willing to sell me his Rick. I received it today and I could not be more satisfied. Now I know what everyone has been saying about the early Rickenbacher bakelites and the tone of these guitars.

They are special, Joe. Nothing like a Rickenbacher. Enjoy.

I'd never sell my Frypan; that one is a keeper, for sure.
