Nashville 400 Wiring

COULD ANYONE TELL ME WHICH WIRE,THE YELLOW
OR THE BLUE WIRE IS THE POSITIVE WIRE AND
WHICH ONE IS GROUND ON THE NASHVILLE 400.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF SOMEONE COULD TELL ME.

Reguardless of what the speaker name or model is:

Useing a 1.5 volt battery...... if the speaker cone is pushed outward,

1) whichever lead is connected to the + side of the battery, is the hot lead (read this as positive lead) the other negative lead.

Now the idea is to push the soundwave outward toward the audiuance, so if you have a 2 speaker cab, both must be moveing in the same direction to expend the most air movement. If one speaker is pushing air, the other is pulling air, You effectively have a "dead" spot in the overall sound.

To elaborate on Bill's explanation...

Place a 1.5 volt battery across the speaker's voice coil connections.

Note the battery polarity and orientation that make the speaker cone travel away from the magnet (out from the "basket"). The wire or terminal the battery positive terminal is then connected to will be the proverbial "red" terminal.

Speaker phasing (what this is) doesn't mean much for one speaker alone by itself in a soundfield (or an open field of corn for that matter). When you get two speakers in the soundfield they can either reinforce or cancel each other. Whatcha wanna accomplish is all speaker cones travelling in the same direction for the same "musical stimulation".
It's really a mechanical syncronization that you are trying to accomplish.
