I have a sessions 400 that I bought around 1980 it is my favorite..it quit a couple times and I had it repaired at a local music store (would start popping on stage) bought a new Sessions LTD then took the 400 to a better repair shop and have used it again for several years now it makes a sound like a scratchy control but all the time...can I send this back to Peavey and have it completely gone over??

Bob,
Yes you can. I took the amphead out of the cabinet (73' Session) and sent it back to Peavy for repairs. They not only repaired, but took the old spring reverb loop out and added pre-amp in and out plugs on the back. Sounded good as ever when I got it back - been playing it for 5-6 yrs now. Got it back about 1-1/2 wk after I shipped it. Don't think you will be disappointed with their service.
(have the name and phone number of the repair technician if you are interested. Send me an email for his contact info).

Bob, You are welcome to send the Session to us here at the factory and we will restore it to factory spec for you. Send it to;
Peavey Service Center
Attn; Mike Brown
412 Hwy. 80 East
Meridian, MS 39301
Please include a copy of this post and your daytime phone number. If you wish, you can e-mail a UPS tracking number so that I will know when the chassis arrives. Please make sure the problem is in the electronics and not related to the speaker or reverb pan.

Thanks Mike I will check the reverb but am sure it is not the speaker, I would like to have it gone over and updated, is there a kit or whatever like the ones for the Nashville or LTD 400 ? I had sent my ProFex ll to you and it works better then when I bought it...Thanks Bob |
