What does a Peavey TubeFex good for, how does it work, and what type of setup is it good for?

it is areal 12ax7 tube preamp and multi effects unit ,
all programable, and midi controlable from a standard pedal or a steel leg mounted box.
it has servos that turne the pots controling the tube parameters.

You can have 6 effects inline or any of the above
in 2 chains split to separate outputs too.

There are Jeff Newman collected presets from major players avaiable on cards or pre laded.

So it is a lot of things at once.

I have one, and also the tube emullator version built into a Peavey Transfex Pro 212s stereo amp.

I put the Tube Fex in the studio rack.

Yes Joe they will. And if you use the Tube-side of the Tubefex,It's a shame most folks don't.I guess it's because Jeff Newman didn't write any programs using the Tube side and a lot of steelers won't or can't write their on programs.Anyway a Tubefex or any good tube pre-amp will sweeten than 500 right up.With the Tubefex you get a lot of really good reverb and delay choices + many other effects if you're into that..Regards........bb
