Do any formites know of a volume control for a person missing their right foot? or...someway to rig one up to allow the use of a volume control? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Loyd, I discussed this situation at length with Keith Hilton and his idea is probably better then my thought of operating a volume control mounted under the guitar with the RLR lever. Keith felt that the best solution was to hang a volume pedal mount on the right legs and use a volume pedal (Hilton) of course and control the volume with the right knee. It does seem like a pretty simple solution. The pedal can be set where it returns to off on its own and knee pressure against it would increase volume.

I'll have to do a little experimenting with those suggestions...thanks! Has anyone got any more suggestions or someone who has already rigged something up?

Sometime back, Vic Chaney, a dentist and steel player from the Bay area in California, devised a volume controller. It operates by using pressure to control sound. You put it in your mouth and in between your teeth and by varying presure you change the volume. Maybe a search would find something about that. If not and you're interested, e-mail me and I'll give you his e-mail address. Jim
