Hi guys. I'm looking for mounting depths for the Profex, Tubefex and Transtubefex efx units. Anybody got one that's not mounted and/or easy to get at, I'd really appreciate your measuring the depth and posting here or email me.
Thanks in advance. JO

Jerry, the Transtubefex is 11 1/2 inches deep actual and not allowing for the jacks to clear. Probably 15" minimum is needed unless you use "L" plugs.

Hey Jerry! Thanks for the info. I'm doing some research for future rack case designs. It's great of you to take time to reply.

Hey Jerry, I just did this exact same " Make your own" rack for the PROFEX deal.

the Profex is 10" deep and of course 19" wide. The other "FEX's" may be deeper.

I made a 2 space rack which is 14" deep and built it so that 1 space is for the PROFEX mounted 1 1/2" deep and the other rack space is for STUFF..I also brought the mono out up to the top so I can just plug it into the amp easily and left plenty of clearance on the bottom and a 3/4" peep hole so that I can bring the Stereo feed out if I need it for a second amp.

I built it out of scrap PINE but 3/4 PLYWOOD would be preferred. I painted it flat black so that it can be touched up on a moments notice. A Handle and some Cleats from Home Depot and for about $10 all is well..oh and a couple of hours of manual labor..

Very portable, very GIG ready...make that VERY GIG ready.

here is a photo:

Nice job Tony! I have a TTF out of the rack and actually measured it and the dimensions I gave were accurate for the TTF. I have a Tubefex also but it is in a rack but I think the dimensions are the same as the Transtubefex. They are deeper than the Profex II and much heavier also.
