We need to book many more gigs so that I can afford to get the BB, Peterson tuner, Hilton VP. You guys are killing me with all the reviews on these things. Are you all getting kick backs to promote these items? Is there a federal grant that I can get to subsidize these items so that I can sound better to a bunch of intoxicatedly impaired country music lovers? Of course, we all know we play for ourselves only!! Is there a grant for us then?

I already have a N1000 and a N112. I have already asked the question under another post as to how beneficial it is to play in stereo when you run everything though a Mackie system anyway. I told my wife that she could get me the pedal for Christmas and I would get her the tuner. My daughter gets the BB. They weren't impressed.

Ken,
I play a few different instruments, and I have a few of a few different instruments, and they all need their own amps, and preamps, and effects, and speakers, and .......... Oh, I also ride motorcycle, and have one for long trips, one for around town , one for the woods, and ..... Did I mention that I want to build an ultralight airplane ???...... When I'm done playing with all my toy's, you can bury me !!...Jim

Certainly no kickbacks. ha. There is no free lunch.
A bit of irony. I play/practice in a music room most of the time. All I hear is my sound/tone and some rhythm tracks. Well, lately I have been playing out on Wednesday nights with my best gear. The band is so loud that I crank my amp to compete. Guess what? All that worry and fuss over bits of improvement in tone don't mean a damn thing in this environment.
So what? I love all the gear. BB, George L cables, true tone pickup, Hilton pedal, tube amps, etc. But it is all for nothing at loud volumes. By the way, the band loves the steel! I can't stand it.
Not really looking for advice, just exploring the irony.

Ron
