Can anyone tell me someone locally here who can fix or replace a bad switch on my Boss DD-3? It's only about a year old and when I press it ON the light comes on but the light or device will not stay on. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Gere - I had that same problem and found I had a bad wall wart. Try jiggling the wire coming out of the adapter and see if you can get the light to stay on. I had to replace my AC adapter. Just a thought. |

Gere, I had the same problem as Dave Smith, so maybe that is the solution. Good luck. Dan |

Sometimes the grommett that cushons the on/off stop-screw gets out of place (this is the screw that you have to take out to change the battery), and can cause the unit to not be able to change state from on/off.
Make sure that grommett is clear and try it again.
If it's the cord, they usually break internally right near the case. You can open the case and replace the cord, and get alot more life out of them (sometimes ). |
