Well, guys - I am playing a brief (4 song) show with a group tonight, and the backline will be a Fender Twin. I'll still be using my Pod XT as the front end, so does anyone have recommendations on either:
- flat settings for the twin, since my tone shaping is already done, or
- generally suggested steel guitar settings?
I know it's the last minute, but I'll bet you can pull me through. I use a twin so infrequently that I never even remember a starting point. (I'd go direct, but I don't often get a monitor mix in this band - 8 guys!)
Thanks in advance,

David, I've done that a number of times. Actually when I use the PODxt with the Twin, I'll use the PODxt as an FX unit only and turn off modelling. I'll use the Modelling when I grab the strat. BUT, if you want to keep your models that you're used to, you'll want to flatten the Twin as much as possible. This mainly happens when you turn the bass down to around 2.7 and also the treble at around 3.3. Keep mids around 6 or 7. This will get you close, but the Twin is never truly flat.
Good Luck,
Brad
