Hey Guys,
When I plug my MSA CLASSIC directly into
my amp I have lots of volume, but when I
go from my guitar to my Goodrich 120
volume pedal, I have to turn my amp way
up because the volume drops down. What
causes this and how can I fix it.

ANY ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL
THANKS RICK

I'm sure Jerry emailed you that the Volume pot in your pedal is not opening up all the way....>is most likely the problem. If he didn't tell you how to fix it.....>then email me and I'll tell you how to tell Jerry to tell you how to fix it...ha.

You could have a bad cord. Substitute another cord for the one you added when you put the pedal inline. ...........JD

Hi Ricky, I told him to just let me send him a Hilton and that would be a permanent fix. I bet you offered him a temporary solution.

WEll Jerry that is a great solution.
But I still would venture to say that the volume post has slipped where the string pulls it. If he was to turn the volume pedal over and open up the back plate and see how the string is wound around the volume pot post and then hooked on to the set screw. Then undo the string and turn the volume pot clockwise till it stops(full open); then with the pedal still upside down; make sure it's fully pressed like one would do to play full volume....then re-tie the string; he would then get full use of the volume pot.

Yeah Ricky, you are right. I guess I was thinking of the easy way out of the problem. You are the man Ricky! I would sure love to see some more nice closeups of you tearing it up on the Grand Ole Opry, nothing less than Mr. Cool.
Your ole Pal,
Jerry

Hey Ricky,
I bought this pedal used and had to replace
the pot.I used a A+B 500k pot. I ajusted it
so that when the pedal is all the way back
there is no volume, but when I push it
down there is sound ,but not as loud as if
I was not using a pedal at all.Is it possible I did not ajust it right? Do I
have to push the pedal all the way down
and turn the pot screw wide open.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW

THANKS RICK
