I have a Session 500 wich I love.It sounds amazing to me.Only problem is a hum when I turn the reverb on.If my reverb is on 0 amp is quiet but as soon as I start adding a reverb hum gets louder and louder.Do I need to get another reverb or what?Any advices? Thanks.
Sincerely, Db |

See if you can try another tank from another amp. I had that problem from time to time on my 500 til I canned the PV Reverb and went digital.
I've heard that the springs can be loose, or somebody stretched them to get a "deeper reverb" and screwed them up permanantly. With mine it was just intermittent, and I used to bang it around and get it to stop..
I ditched the logo too..

It's a grounding problem at the pot, or the wiring harness leading to the reverb pan.
Feel free to contact our factory techs after July 12th and they can assist. Toll free in North America at 1-877-732-8391.

I also love my 500. I find my reverb to be too sensitive. I don't use it any more. I use an Alesis Quadraverb instead.

DB. I'd sure like to, Maybe when my MArrs is ready next spring. I'm working every weelend all summer, and haven't had a day off my new job driving transfer dump since I started in Jan.
Maybe when Bobbe wins his Million Dollar Countersuit, he'll "comp" me a weekend..
And lordy I hope he does..
