This is dedicated to all those who pursue ultimate tone. In particular, those who had the tone but traded it off, pursuing alternative, ultimate tone, only to be disappointed later. I would like to hear others' stories.
When do you know?
When do you stop?
When do you concentrate on fingers and technique?

It does not stop, ask Buddy. Lost of things sound good for a time, then the band dynamics change, the venue changes, your ears change, your amp gets older, your back gets weaker, your pocket book gets lighter, your van gets smaller, the comments on the forum cloud you vision, ok I'll stop.
