| Have any of you guys tried your steels through a Line 6 212 amp? They have 150watts of power which I would think would be enough. My Sessions 400 has about that I believe. The Line 6 212 has effects built in and 4 programable channels. I wouldn't have to carry my Pod xt anymore. Thanks in advance, Larry |

| I have a Flextone II HD which is a 200 watt stereo head with a POD 2 built in. The output is switchable 4,8,16 Ohm and can be used as just a power amp. Very clean and powerful. I have 2 15" JBL's 16 Ohm and I tried a Mosvalve but it could'nt drive em. |

I have a Flextone HD, not a Flextone II. They came out with II about a month after I got mine, naturally. I use a Webb, so I don't use it for steel, but at a rehearsal I tried but couldn't find a good clean patch for steel. If anybody else has found one, please post the settings.

| I have a Tubefex and I down loaded the Newman(Thank you Jesus for Jeff Newman) presets for the Profex which are written in english then when I hooked up my Computer to the Flextone and I tweaked a clean Twin patch to Jeff's settings. Ta daa |

| Thanks for answering my question guys. You have certainly given me something to think about. The best sounding amp I ever had was a 1200 watt Mackie rack mount into a DOD processor and then into Peavey stereo cabinets. Wheather I was playing steel or guitar, it sounded awsome. My ex-wife helped me get rid of that system.(along with six guitars) But that's another story. ha ha i wouldn't want to carry all that now anyways. Thanks again. Larry |
