I did a gig last year on a casino cruise where you had to carry your equipment up 2 flights of stairs. I had a 1501-4 speaker in a small cab so for kicks I decided to use the Webb head with that speaker cab. It sounded very nice. Then again, the Webb amp sounds good with most any speaker.
Webb amps RULE!

I bought an 80's model Webb 6-14E from a guy and he had an 8 ohm JBL in it. I didn't like the way it sounded so I purchased a BW and it was fantastic!!! BW's are excellent!! Loren. |

I have two old Webbs, and have BW's in both. I tried JBL's ( I use them in my ShoBuds), and actually like the BW's better in the Webbs. |

I ran my 1501DT 4ohm in my Webb until it started to rub so replaced the basket with a 12" PV 4ohm and it seems to work just great.

It sure would be nice if Peavey came out with
a new neodymium 15" speaker. It would cut
the weight in half & probably sound even better!
Alot of the other companies are already
offering them....Celestion, Eminence,
and Jensen to name a few.
