Hello Mike, my DPC750 has started to crackle, pop, & sizzle when I turn it on -- quietens down after a bit but it still comes back with this noise intermittently - which makes it a bit disconcerting. Not game to use it on a gig at the moment. Do you have any clues as where the problem might lay before I hand it over to the local Peavey tech ???
Thanks

Sorry for the delay in responding to you. I checked with one of our techs, and he suggests that you tighten every screw on the bottom of the DPC as this ensures grounding to the chassis. If the problem persists, contact me here at the factory by calling toll free in North America at 1-877-732-8391 and we'll be glad to assist.

Hi Mike, I tightened down all the screws etc and it made no difference, so I will pass it to my local Peavey Tech to check it out, could be a dry joint in the PCB or something simple -- apart from the crackling and popping it still works fine and the steel still sounds great -- just don't need the special effects.

Will keep you posted regarding the outcome.
