Which is the preferred amp? Does the 150 watt have enough power? The one thing I seem to favor the 150 watt is it's weight of 39 pounds. Would greatly appreciate some imput.

Joe, I have every steel amp worth having. They all have their merits and their own particular sound. My overall favourite is the Evans SE 200 with a Eminence Deltalite speaker. It has plenty of clean power for all gigs and is relatively lightweight with the Deltalite speaker although I would say they take some experimentation to find the best tone settings....IP

Howdy Joe, The SE-150 probably would do the same job as the SE-200 for most players, but I like the added headroom of the SE-200. Maybe just my peace of mind because it's really hard to hear the difference. It takes a little getting use to setting the controls, but the "sweet spots" are there. Your Emmons will sound good.
