I have the schematic that Peavey has on the old Session 400/LTD 400 manual. It is lacking the power supply and the board/component layout. Does anyone have these and could possibly scan them for me?

Ken,
I just looked at my archive and I have the same as you. I have the power amp and preamp schematics for the LTD/Session 400 and the Session 400. I don't have the board layout or power supply either.

Sorry.

Terry

Hi Ken! Brad Sarno is very knowledgeable about the Session 400 amps and has done a lot of modifications to them...perhaps you can contact Brad at bradsarno@earthlink.net
See you Ken at TSGC in March!

Ken,
I recently sent Brad the schematics for the session 400. If he can scan it and forward that would be quickest. Otherwise, I can snail mail to you. I don't have a scanner.

I have yet to see a board layout for those amps. I'm guessing they dont exist. I also haven't seen a schematic for the power supply section, only the preamp and power amp schematics.

I have a set of schematics and operating manual on the Session 500, including the power supply. It may be close to the same, or the same? If that will help you.
I have never seen a power supply drawing on a Session/LTD 400 either.

Thanks, but I have the full set of Session 500 schematics. I have just ordered all new electrolytic caps for the amp. I am hoping that will resolve the problem. If not, it is still time to change them out, due to age.

I may have the power supply schematic for the "Sessions 400" you'all are lookin' for. This print is dated 10-24-74. It shows the AC plug to the Power transformer (with part number) to rectifiers and P/S capacitors. Unfortnatly I do not have a parts layout or pictorial print of this amp. I will make a jpeg photo of it and mabe get it on the net somehow or you can email me and I will e-mail you a copy.

Ken, the board layout doesn't exist. That amp was designed before we included the board layout. Sorry.
